Two ways of usage of the WaterSteamPro's functions in Mathcad

The Mathcad provides a built-in facility of operation with dimensional values. This allows more powerful operations with dimensional quantities.

The "WaterSteamPro" package is possible to be operated in Mathcad under the following conditions:

• Dimensionless. All function arguments should have dimensions of the SI-system in this case. The values are also returned in the SI-system dimensions.
• Dimensional. Mathcad provides monitoring dimensions and their recalculation in this case.

The first mode is enabled at a Mathcad startup (the library WSPMCAD.DLL should be kept in the folder USEREFI and it should be already loaded). In this case the user should monitor dimensions of function arguments of the "WaterSteamPro" package to belong to the SI-system.

To operate the program under the second mode (dimensional mode) the file named "WATERSTEAMPRO.MCD" should be inserted into a worksheet through the item "Reference…" of the "Insert" menu. This file redefines functions permitting them to operate with dimensions.

The second mode is recommended. All Mathcad examples of the "WaterSteamPro" delivery set operate with dimensions.

Attention: it is best to insert (Reference) no more than one copy of the file "watersteampro.mcd" into a worksheet. Otherwise dimension problems will occur - the program will operate with dimensions to the power equal to a number of insertions.
